Cleaner backgrounds and a sticker edge for your sprite

  • ImprovedA Gallery layout nobody named is now shown by what it is, such as Pink Cute Rant Layout, instead of Untitled. When you publish, the title, category and tags start from your layout's own main colour; anything you type stays as you wrote it.
  • ImprovedCreating an account with a Gmail address: Continue with Google appears right at the email field and signs you in at once.
  • FixedA layout you had drawn with AI before signing in is still there after you sign in.

Start from a picture, not an empty page

  • ImprovedThe home page shows starters right under the title. Tap one and it opens in the Maker, ready to edit.
  • ImprovedThe Maker opens on a starter the first time instead of an empty canvas. On phones, Try another swaps it in one tap and Blank clears it.
  • AddedCome back later and the home page takes you straight to your layout. If a starter link replaces a layout you were working on, Bring back my earlier layout restores it.

Try AI cutout without an account

  • AddedAI cutout now shows you the result before asking for anything: one free preview a day without an account. Sign in free and the same cutout is yours at full size.
  • AddedWhen a picture you add still has its background, the Maker offers to remove it with AI in one press. In Sprite, Cut out with AI is now the first button.
  • ImprovedAfter a download you see that the PNG is saved, can keep the layout with one press (Continue with Google brings you straight back to it), and can start the next one from there.
  • ImprovedAI layout from a few words: tap one of the example pictures and it is drawn for you, or match the colour of what is on your canvas. Typing your own words still works.

Sign in without losing your place

  • ImprovedSigning in from the Maker no longer opens a new tab. Your layout is saved in the browser first, and after you sign in you are back on the same layout, in the place you left.
  • ImprovedThe sign-in page opens on Create account for new visitors, and on Sign in once you have used an account in that browser.
  • FixedSeveral things that looked pressable but did nothing now work: on phones the canvas button zooms in and back, and the back arrow closes the options it opened; the Maker preview and the asset cards on the home page and the Make card in the Gallery open the Maker.

White and black backgrounds are trimmed away too

  • ImprovedWhen the Maker removes a white or black background, from an upload or with Remove white and Remove black, the layer is trimmed to the drawing that is left. Turn the cleanup off and the whole picture is back, with the drawing exactly where it was.
  • FixedThe buttons in Edit › Clean now answer right there in the Clean panel, for example when no checkerboard was found in a picture.

AI tools no longer wait without end

  • FixedIf the AI service has not answered a cutout, recolor or repair after a few minutes, the request is stopped and you are told so, instead of showing Queued without end. Nothing is charged, and a free cutout that never ran does not use up your free try of the day.

Cleared uploads are trimmed to the drawing

  • ImprovedWhen the Maker clears a checkerboard from an upload, the layer is trimmed to the drawing, so it is easy to grab, size and line up. Untick Remove checkerboard and the whole picture is back, with the drawing exactly where it was.

The Maker clears fake transparent uploads too

  • AddedUpload a picture that has a grey-and-white checkerboard instead of a real see-through background and the Maker clears it for you. Your picture is stored as you uploaded it: untick Remove checkerboard in Edit › Clean to get it back.

Repaint your saved pictures in one colour with AI

  • AddedAI repaint for your own pictures: pick a colour and the whole set is repainted in it, shapes and shading kept, and comes back as separate see-through pictures. 10 credits a set; a repaint that fails costs nothing, and your originals are one press away.
  • ImprovedPictures you add to be arranged are remembered in your browser for a few hours, so they are still there after you sign in or come back.

Turn the pictures you saved into a layout

  • AddedArrange my Pinterest finds: add up to 8 of your own pictures at once, by choosing, dropping or pasting. White and black backgrounds are cleared, the pictures are arranged around the page, and one colour can be put across all of them. Free, and done on your device.
  • AddedIt is in the generator and inside the Maker, where the arranged pictures land on your canvas as separate layers.

Have a layout drawn without leaving the Maker

  • AddedDraw a layout with AI is now inside the Maker: describe it, and the see-through layout is added to your canvas under your other layers.
  • AddedThe Gallery has a Draw one with AI link, and a search that finds nothing offers to have those words drawn. Layout pages offer a new layout in your own theme; it uses only your words, never the creator's artwork.

A drawing card that always answers

  • FixedDraw mine no longer looks dead when nothing was described. The drawing card has its own box for your words, shows what is missing right under the button, and starts working the moment you press.
  • ImprovedGenerator layouts no longer come with a “rant time” caption or a title plate: they are clean frames. Type a title under More options if you want one.
  • AddedThe Trial pack, 20 drawn layouts for US$2.99, can be picked right in the generator.
  • FixedOn wide screens the Maker's Add editable text cards no longer run past the side panel, so their Add buttons are fully visible again.

Generator layouts are see-through from the start

  • ImprovedLayouts from the generator now come see-through by default, ready to drop over a video. Choose Paper under More options if you want a filled page.
  • ImprovedLayouts drawn with AI arrive as see-through PNGs too: the borders and decorations stay, the middle is clear.

A generator that builds a layout to match your sprite

  • AddedRant layout generator: type an idea, pick a colour or add your sprite and get four matching layouts. Each one opens in the Maker with every piece still editable.
  • AddedAny colour you like: the ribbon and Y2K packs can now be turned pink, purple, green or any other colour in the generator.
  • ImprovedOverlays saved on a black or white background turn see-through as soon as you upload them. Edit › Clean also has one-tap Remove black and Remove white buttons.
  • AddedCustom layouts in the generator: describe any theme and have a new layout drawn around it in about 20 seconds. Free accounts get 3; Creator includes 30 a month. These are made with AI.
  • AddedSign your layouts: type your name once in the generator or the Maker's Text tools and it is added as a watermark. It is remembered in your browser, and on every device when you are signed in.
  • FixedSmall outlined text in the Maker no longer turns into a blob on phone-sized canvases; it now looks the same as the exported PNG.

A roomier Maker on every screen, working email confirmation, and AI credits

  • FixedEmail sign-up works again. The link in the confirmation email now confirms your address and signs you in. If you signed up earlier and could not finish, we are sending you a new link.
  • ImprovedThe Maker gives your canvas much more room on phones and tablets. On tablets the steps sit in the top bar and tips share a row with the layer actions; on phones open tools take less space.
  • ImprovedHolding a phone sideways now shows the canvas and the open tool side by side, instead of the tool covering the canvas.
  • ImprovedThe Sprite step has a larger picture area on every screen size and opens full screen on phones and in landscape. On desktop you can drop an image straight onto the upload area.
  • ImprovedAdding decorations on a phone shows the first row right away, with search, collection, and upload on one line.
  • AddedAI credits are available: a Creator plan billed monthly or yearly, a 7-day trial, and credit packs that do not expire. The Pricing page shows what the main AI actions cost. Editing and exporting in your browser stay free.
  • ImprovedWhen AI cutout cannot read a small selection, the Maker explains what to try next, and those attempts no longer use up your free daily tries.

Character is now Sprite

  • ImprovedWe now use Sprite for the cut-out image you add to a rant layout, matching the community's terminology. Find the same tools under Sprite in the Maker on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Your own reusable asset library and a smoother mobile Maker

  • AddedSave images to My uploads in your account and reuse them from Assets or the Maker. Search your library, rename images, download originals, and delete anything you no longer need.
  • ImprovedSaved designs can reopen images from your personal library. Missing images are clearly marked for replacement, and deleting an original does not remove the separate image copies in layouts you have already shared.
  • AddedSign up and sign in with an email address and password, verify your email, and reset a forgotten password. Google and Discord sign-in remain available.
  • ImprovedThe mobile Maker now puts the canvas at the center, with quick access to Templates, Assets, Text, Character, and Layers. A short guide and clearer export options help you get started and finish your design.
  • FixedAdding decorations on mobile keeps the asset picker open and preserves your place in the list. Accidental taps outside the canvas no longer dismiss the picker.
  • ImprovedCharacter editing has more reliable model loading, clearer mobile controls, and brush tools for refining a cutout. Detailed selection is available for trickier images; complex edges may still need a manual touch-up.
  • ImprovedImage uploads use simpler progress messages and no longer require the extra upload-verification step. File checks and upload limits still apply.

A clearer path from profile to public creator

  • ImprovedAccount now shows a three-step Creator launch checklist for saving a profile, connecting a layout, and publishing the first public work, with the next action always visible.
  • FixedLayouts saved before a Creator Profile was created can now be safely reconnected to that profile, and administrators can diagnose or repair eligible ownership links without exposing account identifiers.
  • AddedAccount Privacy now supports confirmed permanent account deletion. Public layouts remain usable as Anonymous creator while profile identity, sign-in access, account ownership, and hosted avatars are removed.
