How the rant layout generator works
The generator gives you a finished starting point in seconds, so you can spend your time on the parts that make a rant layout yours. There are three ways in, and each one ends in the same place: a see-through square layout that opens in the Maker with every piece on its own layer.
Four instant layouts
Type an idea such as “pink bows and stars”, pick a colour, or add your sprite. The generator arranges pieces from RantLayout's own asset packs into four different layouts and recolours them to match. With a sprite, it reads the picture's main colours on your device first, so the frame matches your character before you touch anything. Shuffle for four more if none fits.
Your own finds
Already collected stickers, lace or doodles you are allowed to use? Add up to eight pictures at once. Plain white or black backgrounds and fake checkerboard “transparent” backgrounds are cleared, and the pieces are arranged around the edges, leaving the middle free for your video. This all happens on your device and is free.
A drawn draft
For something none of the packs cover, describe it and an AI image model draws a new see-through frame, or a sheet of six separate stickers you place yourself. Only your words are sent, never your sprite, and the model is instructed to leave out text, people and characters, because your sprite is what goes in that spot. Treat the result as a draft: move, recolour or delete any part of it in the Maker.
Which one to use
- You have a sprite and want a match fast: add the sprite and pick one of the four instant layouts.
- You already have favourite decorations: use your own finds.
- You want a theme the packs do not cover, such as a season or a hobby: try a drawn draft.
- You want full control from the start: open the Maker on a blank canvas instead.
Finish it in the Maker
Add your sprite on its own layer if it is not there yet, give it a white edge or a glow, add your name with the Text tool, and keep the middle clear for the slime clip. Export a transparent PNG at 1080, 1440 or 2160 pixels and add it in CapCut as an overlay. Questions
Is the rant layout generator free?
Yes. Making, editing and downloading layouts is free and needs no account, and so is one AI-drawn layout a day. A free account removes the daily shuffle limit and gets a drawn layout of its own every day.
How does it match my sprite?
It reads the main colours of your picture on your device, then builds layouts in those colours. Your sprite is not uploaded until you save or share a layout.
Can I change a layout after it is made?
Everything opens in the Maker as separate pieces. Move, resize, recolour or delete any of them, then add your text.
Can I get a see-through overlay for CapCut or TikTok?
Yes. Every layout here is see-through, including the ones drawn with AI, so it sits straight on top of your video. Choose Paper under More options if you would rather have a filled page.
Can I use pictures I saved from Pinterest?
Yes. Add up to 8 of your own pictures at once. White and black backgrounds are cleared, and so is the grey-and-white checkerboard of a fake transparent PNG, the pictures are arranged around the page and can be matched to one colour, all on your device and free. For a closer match, AI can repaint the whole set in your colour for 10 credits. Use pictures you are allowed to use; nothing is fetched from Pinterest for you.
Where does the artwork come from?
The four instant layouts are built from RantLayout's own asset packs: the generator arranges and recolours them and does not copy other creators' layouts.
Are custom layouts made with AI?
Yes. A custom layout is drawn by an AI image model from the words you type; only those words are sent to our AI provider, never your sprite. You can try one a day without an account, a free account gets one a day of its own, and Creator includes 30 a month. After that each one costs 3 AI credits, and a drawing that fails costs nothing.
What are AI stickers?
Instead of one finished picture, the AI draws six separate see-through stickers from your words. You place them yourself, or have them arranged in one press, and every sticker can be moved, recoloured or deleted in the Maker. A sticker sheet counts the same as a drawn layout.
