  1. Choose a starter

    Pick a ready-made layout you like. Not sure where to begin? Choose Blank canvas and build your own from scratch.

  2. Decorate your layout

    Add decorations, dividers or text. Select a layer on the canvas to move, resize or rotate it; open Edit for precise settings.

  3. Upload & edit a character

    Upload a character image, select the parts to keep, and refine the edges. Review the cutout, then add it to your canvas. You can skip this step.

  4. Export & download

    Check your layers and choose your PNG settings, then download your layout. You can also create a private link or publish to the Gallery.

Quick answers for your next step on the canvas.

How do I start a layout?

Choose a starter you like, then customize its layers. Prefer to build your own? Choose Blank canvas and add decorations, text or a character as you go.

How do I move, resize or rotate a decoration?

Select it on the canvas. Drag to move it, use the corner handles to resize it, and use the rotation handle to turn it. Open Edit when you want precise size, rotation or opacity settings. Unlock a locked layer in Layers before adjusting it.

Can I use my own images as decorations?

Yes. Open the decoration library and upload an image, or choose an image from My uploads when signed in. It becomes a separate layer that you can move, resize and rotate alongside the other decorations.

How do I cut out and add a character?

Open Character and upload an image. Tap or draw a short stroke over the character, add missing parts or remove unwanted areas, then refine the edges with the manual brushes. Preview the cutout and choose Add to canvas. A character is optional, so you can skip this step.

How do I change which decoration is in front?

Open Layers and reorder the layers to change how they overlap. You can also hide a layer without deleting it or lock it to prevent accidental changes. Use Undo if you make a mistake.

How do I download a transparent layout?

Open Export, choose Transparent PNG and an export size, then select Download PNG. This removes the canvas background. Backgrounds inside image layers stay visible; hide any paper layer in Layers if you want an open center.

Can I come back and edit my layout later?

Your changes are saved automatically in this browser when browser storage is available. Download design JSON for an editable backup that includes local images, then use Import design JSON to reopen it. Private account images still require your account. A downloaded PNG is a combined image, not an editable layer file.
